The Boot Scrusher is a multi-purpose tool. Mount one to a Pannier Low Profile exhibit base to serve as a way to knock the mud off visitors’ shoes, but also as a way to communicate important information. After reading, they can enter the building without tracking in the outside world. Mount one near a parking lot to help the outside world from entering cars!

Additionally, to help prevent the spread of invasive species from one site to another, a seed pan can be included below the scrusher. The visitor will scrush their boots, and all the dirt and seeds from wherever they were previously will fall into the pan. Periodically detach the pan and dispose of the potentially damaging invasive seeds before they enter the land.
