Silver Lake Nature Center (SLNC) is a 450-acre “natural treasure” located northeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The land belongs to Bucks County and is free for visitors, residents, and furry friends to enjoy. There is plenty to do while wandering the 7.5 miles of trails, but a lot more goes on at the nature center than what meets the eye.
The staff at Silver Lake Nature Center needed a way to communicate the activities, workshops, trail alerts, and other information to those who walked through the rich woodlands. A Pannier Triple Offset frame, integrated with a bulletin case, was the perfect solution.
Pannier’s Double and Triple Upright kiosks allow you to connect multiple information panels together at an angle in an offset formation. This structure is angled to surround a user with the information that needs to be shared. Bulletin cases can also be integrated into these units to provide a secure, weatherproof space for information that is frequently changed and updated. Furthermore, the bulletin case’s continuous-hinge door offers sturdy locks and a 3/16-inch Polycarbonate front that is durable, UV resistant, and crystal clear. For this project at SLNC, two sides of the frame are Pannier’s durable Fiberglass Embedment. The third side is a bulletin case with a Neoprene Rubber backer for posting temporary information with thumbtacks.
“The sign [at SLNC] is primarily a welcome sign, but it is also educational. It has a map of our grounds in addition to some information about the animals and habitats that one will encounter while on our trails. The bulletin board is being used to promote events here at SLNC and throughout Bucks County.” – Kassandra Archer, Environmental Educator/Summer Camp Director, Silver Lake Nature Center
At Pannier, we are dedicated to exceeding our customers’ expectations again and again. That means a commitment to delivering outstanding reliability. Every project is handled with the utmost care and our team will do their absolute best to work within deadlines.
“I do not know how the professionals at Pannier did it, but they were able to create and get the sign shipped to us ahead of our deadline. I felt like they truly cared about our sign being in the ground for our next event.” – Kassandra Archer, Environmental Educator/Summer Camp Director, Silver Lake Nature Center
