This past October, Stafford County Virginia unveiled a new mural showcasing 350 years of history outside its government center. Designed by Stafford County resident Dale Glasgow, the mural included famous figures such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Pocahontas, George Mason and more.
On June 30th, 2013 the Port Washington Historical Society in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin held a dedication ceremony for the Lights of Port Washington lighthouse project. The project was a joint venture between the city, Boy Scout Will Pfrang and the Historical Society.

Through grants Southern Bancorp Community Partners created a 27-site interpretive tour that displays the history of the Civil War in Helena and Phillips County from 1862-1866.

Nestled within one of the largest Army bases in the country is the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum. The museum was established in 1945 when Major General James M. Gavin, Commanding General of the Division, wanted to honor all the men who served in the 82nd Airborne Division after the division received the honor of Occupation Duty in Berlin after WWII. The museum has been located in the middle of the division area in Fort Bragg since January of 1946 and has grown four times since then.

This National Historic Landmark features a massive 16,000 year-old rock overhang once used as a shelter for some of our earliest ancestors.
