Located in the famous town of Dodge City, Kansas is Boot Hill Casino. It’s the first state owned and operated casino in Kansas. Boot Hill Casino is a proud sponsor of the Wild West Heritage Foundation.
The Wild West Heritage Foundation was founded in January of 2015, and it supports projects that preserve the historical importance of livestock in the Wild West. The foundation offers public living exhibits of the livestock that are common to the history of Dodge City, showcasing the resources of the past for new generations to appreciate what live in the Wild West was really like.
As one of the Wild West Heritage Foundation supporters, Boot Hill Casino worked with Pannier Graphics to produce panels and exhibit bases for the Live Buffalo and Longhorn exhibit in Dodge City. The exhibit features four buffalo, including a rare golden buffalo and two longhorn steers.
Designed by the marketing staff at Boot Hill Casino, nine Pannier Fiberglass Embedded panels were placed into Single Pedestal and Mason Mount Exhibit bases at the Live Buffalo and Longhorn exhibit.
“We chose two different types of exhibit bases, the pedestal mount option was used for our small signs located in between the larger mason mount signs. The mason mount, encased in native limestone, is a beautiful option that fits seamlessly into the rolling plains, home of these majestic buffalo and longhorn,” said Samantha Ricke, Boot Hill Casino Marketing Supervisor.
“Pannier met every rushed deadline required for this project,” said Ricke. “Their staff has been great to work with, providing us with amazing service and quick turnaround. The signs we received are beautiful, well made and will surely stand the test of time.”
