This summer, Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) ordered 20 StoryWalk Exhibit Bases for Tot Park in New Whiteland, Indiana. This is the fifth StoryWalk they have put in their community after finding great success with them.
Earlier this year, The Eccles-Lesher Children's Library in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania partnered with Pannier Graphics to create an immersive StoryWalk® experience along the Sligo Spur of The Redbank Valley Trail.
Kiwanis Club Sparks Community Engagement With StoryWalk®
The Utica-Shelby Township Kiwanis Club completed an exciting Storywalk® project at Whispering Woods Kiwanis Park in November 2022. Now families can read a children's book while they go for a walk down the beautiful wooded path. This outdoor activity combines learning, fitness, nature, and family.
New StoryWalk® Exhibits for Tomahawk School District
Paula Norman, a librarian in the Tomahawk School District, installed twenty new StoryWalk® Exhibits this month. The Herb Kohl Foundation honored her leadership and innovative teaching this year with a grant, and Paula used that grant to continue giving to her community in a big way.
Combining exercise, nature and literature is what Owlexander's Hoot Route is all about! Located in Centerville-Washington Park District in Ohio, Owlexander's Hoot Route is the first nature and literature trail of its kind.
